Iowa faith leaders call for sentencing reform to Sen. Charles Grassley

In 2015, following Senator Grassley’s appointment as Chairman of the U.S. Senate’s Judiciary Committee, ICJC organized this letter from faith leaders in Iowa to him. The letter called for changes to the criminal justice system and urged him “to lead in this effort by prioritizing the consideration and mark-up of important bipartisan sentencing reform legislation currently pending in Congress.”
