ICJC Sign-on letter supporting S. 1074, the Senate Restoring Education and Learning (REAL) Act
ICJC supports supports of the Restoring Education and Learning (REAL) Act, S. 1074. In this letter sent to all Senators, we urged them to support this important bipartisan legislation and request its full inclusion in reauthorization of the Higher Education Act currently under consideration in both chambers. The REAL Act would restore Pell Grant eligibility to people currently incarcerated in state and federal prisons.
